I’m a Swedish geek. And a nerd, people keep telling me. The point is, English is not my native language. But I like it. So sometimes I’ll write in English, sometimes in Swedish, and it might be a bit confused and mixed up, but who cares?
I play a lot of computer games. I’m originally a PC gamer who am now in love with her Xbox. That is also confused and mixed up, I know… sometimes when I sit on my couch with my hand control I can feel my PC giving me dirty looks.
In this lottery called life I just happened to be lucky enough to grow up with parents who was interested in computers. I played the original pong game. I owned a C64. I like to raid and shoot aliens and collect shiny things and craft and go on adventures in virtual worlds.
I have other interests too. Really I do!
I like to write stories. I like to write just about anything, really. I like to take photographs. I read a lot of books. Actually I used to go to uni and read about reading books. I like black clothes, and SciFi TV shows, and various kinds of music and movies. I like to cook and bake. I like good food. I like to drink huge amounts of coffee and tea. I like fresh notebooks and pens, to do crafty stuff, and to find new things to enthuse me. Red wine is nice. Beer is good. Friends are awesome. Family is great. I don’t believe in Santa Claus, nor any type of god. But I think that people should have faith in whatever they do. I am not overly political but am most definetly a feminist and think democracy is very important.
In a perfect world I would write story lines to awesome computer games and RP games, or own a café/book store with comfy chairs, or win a gazillion dollars on the lottery and buy a house in Italy, invite all my friends and family to stay, and sit in the shade and write interesting books while dipping some nice fresh almond biscotti in red wine.
But the world is not perfect. I have no reason to complain.
