Home Sweet Home

I am home at last, after a little over two weeks of vacation. I am totally out of the loop on absolutely everything, like say, day to day life and reality; I’m on the couch drinking wine and completely ignoring the fact that I have to go to work tomorrow

Well, we’re washing all our clothes from the trip now so I deserve it. It’s my house rule after all. If you do laundry, then you can drink wine. Seriously, doing laundry is way too boring, NOT drinking wine while doing it is pure insanity.

We did a hell of a lot on this trip and simply had a splendid time, and I’ll be back with some details and photos, but in short: We went to England. Then we went to Italy. Then we went to England again. We took about 80 GB of photos. We bought a flat. I bought a new tea pot. We managed to get it home in one piece, but we don’t have a tea cosy. So Jed dug out his woollen balaclava hat, and we’ve now named the pot “The Terrorist Tea Pot”.

Ta!

  1. Gawd, I love that teapot!
(I’m actually learning to drink tea now, so maybe, some day, we could get together in your new flat (congrats!) and have some tea?)

    1. @Sara:
It’s a maddafakking serious teapot 😉 Well I have PLENTY of tea and soon I’ll have PLENTY of space to drink it in! Woot!

  2. Whee, welcome home! You have been missed. <3

*reads post again* Wait, you bought A FLAT? As in… Is there some obscure english meaning of the word "flat" I'm not aware of? If not, why are you not writing more about this!? Or if you are uncomfortable writing about it, when can I hear all the details in person?

    1. @Hanna:
Well, me and Jed bought a flat. Whilst in Italy, hehe (why do one thing at a time when you can do everything at once). It was a bit unexpected to say the least! But an opportunity we couldn’t miss 🙂 I haven’t had the opporunity to blog about it yet, but it’s more fun talking in person anyway, so fika soon? 🙂

  3. Haha, awesome teapot! I love it!

And I hope you’ll be posting some of those photos sometime 🙂

    1. @Becca: I know, right? It’s an awesome teapot. Holds oodles of tea!

My “good” computer is a bit inbetween places right now, hopefully I’ll get it set up this weekend so I can start processing some of the photos =)
